Meet Your Teacher

My name is Michelle Edminster. (students sometimes call me Ms. E.) I am so thrilled to have you in my class this year. I hope you are ready to learn a lot of new and exciting things.
I was born and raised in Greenfield, Wisconsin. I have one sister, Shannon, who is currently going to graduate school in LaCrosse. I attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater for my Bachelor’s degree in elementary education and minor in special education.  Throughout my college education, I studied abroad in Melbourne, Australia where I student taught for six weeks. It was an experience of a lifetime! I started my career in Baraboo, Wisconsin teaching kindergarten for 2 years. As much as I loved that experience, the Milwaukee area has always been where my heart is.
I was so blessed to get a teaching job with the Oak Creek-Franklin School District last year, and cant wait to start my second year here! Teaching kindergarten again near my hometown is like a dream come true. I really do love coming to work everyday, and look forward to seeing my students.  I love to laugh and have fun, and am very passionate about my career.
I hope you are as excited about the start of a new school year as I am! I can't wait to meet you all!
